Rp wise makes more sense them being evil. Would be good if they even had whole spectrum of alignments, ogres do and ogres are stronger and more agile aswell as having greater intelligence, fair enough they have magic vul which can be hard, but they get hugh con and healing and every now and then they ignore the pain plus way less exp pen. Would giving them choice of other classes make stone, storm, fire giants redundant? I would like to think not, but not sure.
Theres an RP plot for you Malc, make every player have to control a minotaur, lob them on a remote island, stick half on one side, half on another and let them all batter crap out of each other. Call it something original like the minotaur wars and there you go, you can then write up a history how they had bloody battles, blah blah blah and lo and behold minotaurs now can choose any path. Its genius
PS anyone ever see the ancient film Sinbad and the eye of the tiger (think thats its name) see the metal minotaur in that, thats some scary dude.
Those Dragonlance books are awesome. By far my favorite. Dragons of the Summer Flame had an excellent ending.

Yeah I loved that movie, only saw it once in the theater never found it again wow talk about an oldie but goodie, 15 to 18 years or so. I remember sitting there thinking wow look at the special affects lol.

Damn good film, the other one Sinbad and the seven voyages or something like that was one of my favorite as a kid, when i saw it again as an adult the cyclops wasnt quite so scary, lol.
I enjoyed Dragons of a summer flame, I want to get the new minotaur trilogy that takes place along side the war of souls, and i'm waiting for book 2 and three to come out of the Dark Disciple trilogy, book one was good, and leaves ya hangin.
I used to love minotaurs. I think if they were made to be evil I'd start picking them again. My two cents is they are good vs mages but not the other popular choices for warriors ie ogre/fire.
"The Bovine Wars".
To Designated Driver
Gylrad definently stands out in my mind. So does Bazin. So does Tien.
Amen to the Bazin shoutout!
doesn't anyone remember? Kentry was a stone giant before his change.
Make Minotaurs like Sliths.
Good minotaurs are more friendly, no charge bonus.
Neutral minotaurs are normal, charge bonus.
Evil minotaurs are too mean and want to kill you slowly, no charge bonus.

If you want good/evil mino, it will now be for RP.
What about Statham?
If you want evil minos, make them, play them like an evil, RP them like an evil, BE evil. That should work.
Why doesn't someone just roll up a neutral mino zerk. Chaotic ethos with discord, scourge or chaos, and go be as evil as can be. Kill some lowbies, cackle to yourself, kill the citizens of the grand cities, spit on the streets. Chances are the Imms might just make you evil because everything you do is....EVIL!!!
That was about what I meant.
It depends on what fantasy series your reading. I've read Dragonlance books where there were good Minotaurs' date=' as well as in other books that was just the first series that came to mind. But there are good as well as evil and neutral Minotaurs. I think if you want an evil Minotaur then roll a neutral and apply if its worthy i'm sure they'd approve, after all we've had a neutral cleric in past and other such re-aligns.[/quote']
I think they were talking about traditional lore, IE minotaur in the center of the labyrinth, etc.
