Bards

I vaguely recall this being mentioned before, but apparently when you convert from adventurer to bard, you don't get any songs. Any way around this?

Something to try, first: You don't learn songs at your guild by using 'practice shield of words'. It's a bit antiquated, but you have to type 'rehearse shield of words'.

If the songs really aren't there, the 'rehearse' bit could be causing the problem. On the subject, have songs been put on the 'new' (Hmph. I'm feeling dated.) training system yet?

I believe they have, and it's not that I can't practice them, it's that they don't show up at all. I type songs and nothing shows up.

Known bug. Prayer forum your character, or note to IMM, and we'll take care of it manually.

Pretty sure songs still train the old way, Rairen. Its weird.

Yeah, think now I'm wrong. Not like I have a ton of experience with bards.

It was I who mentioned it -laughs-

And no it still hasn't been fixed.

-snicker-

Hence taking away a major advantage to those wishing to be bardic.

So if you go this route just note the imms?

Gotcha!

OR...

You could just GASP roll a bard.

That's what I did. High five, Chayesh.

unless you want the RP of being an adventurer first...i know i'm not the only one to have done this, and i'll be doing it again eventually.
