Hometown

How do I change my home town? I have looked everywhere and cannot figure out how to do it. No helpfile on it that I know of.

I am also curious if this is possible.

If the city is available for your race you are able to find the city recorder and pay to change it. The higher the rank, the more you pay.

city recorder? thats kind of muddled isn't it? I mean, the main cities is easy to find...POSSIBLY, but Elf city, Gnome city, Dwarf city, etc....is it possible to drop a help file or anything about it? City recorder sounds like a bard playing a, 'Screw you' tune. Hah

I think in most cities its called a secretary, but its pretty obvious what it actually is if you're looking for it.

And if you're at pinn, be prepared to pay millions.

I beleive it's called a registrary(or something to that effect) at times. How do you know how much to pay for the change? Will the secretary just tell you? Or do you have to type in sometype of command?

Secretary will tell you. Be prepared to do some serious gold farming though.

I believe you have to enter the command hometown, and it will give you choices, and the amount of gold it costs.

I could see it being worthwhile, depending on the class/pk style, but I'd definitely rather pick the right one in the first place.
