I think I remember on one of the older forums that an IMM said you can be rolling a character and playing with one at the same time. However, once done rolling you must log out, is this still valid?

So the way I've done it for a while is try to log off the already made char right before I bring the new one in, and if that is impossible because of adrenaline or something of the likes I just bring the new one in and quit him really fast, is that still okay since technically I have two chars in at once, even if just for a second? Well, I've never been scolded for it so I guess it can't be too bad. Hooray for answering your own questions!

It is just harder to catch, but I will drag you up to Deep **** for it. Having two characters on is having two characters on regardless of the duration.
Sometimes it's hardcore desperation though, after a short milennium of rolling a faerie and a shift comes in, people freak out.
Raar, I thought somewhere an IMM said there could be a maximum of 2 (or was it three) connections from a single person, and only one could be playing.
Ive rolled a char before and forgot my pinn was on. Got transferred by Malch and thought, (OH ****, PINN IS ON!) and quit out of my PINN. Turned out to be a great RP experience.
If you log in with your new char, and instantly log out (since a rolled char can log immediately from 7700), you can leave your other character on, roll, finish, and move on.
By 7700, he means the first room in the Academy that your char is set in.
