Yeah that was some good stuff. We had TONS of bards/hearlds getting arrested. Fun and exciting.

I remember the note asking if anyone knew where he could get a sheath for a mandolin, because apparently the justices wanted it sheathed.

Meerdus had conversation close to that with one Herald. 
It gets fun when the Herald sinks lower than the lawkeeper by starting to fight about it.
Besides, if instruments aint considered as weapons, why bards autosheath them?

Instruments don't deal damage, but they do parry.
They are like...half a weapon.

Unless you were sure that your attacker could damage it only with hellstream.
Pretty sure it was Charim, not for sure, they would stun you, then wield a pen and kill you with it. Personally, I'd use the plunger.
