How do you go about mastering the unique anatomy without actualy fighting another player?
blademaster anatomy training
At this point you can't, because undead/vampire/demon don't give you unique anatomy, they give you mob or human.
so theres no way to do it besides fighting another player?
That's my understanding of it, yes.
Well that sucks.
Theres a way, but I don't think you can get it above 100 without fighting players. Not sure on that though. Anyways, I mastered it on my human monk by fighting one mob in particular, and I've got a feeling that once you get to 50 you'll figure out what that mob is. Not sure if I'm allowed to say?
You're not, and there are ways.
Thanks for the help.
whenever you fight, it will tell you what anat you are learning. Experiment with mobs that don't seem to fit the other categories.
I always thought illithids were considered unique. This true?
Try and find out.

So when I once got an anat raise in unique from a fight with Vanicus that was just a fluke?

D_D meant undead/vamp/demon mobs. ![]()
Dey
I got my unique up on a monk fighting the vamps in the tree. Funny how it doesn't work the same...
I got mine to 67 like that, won't go any further.
it will go a little higher using those vamps. and there are mobs that will get unique up there higher than that, some even higher than 100. You'll have to look around though. I don't want ani breaking both my legs and all my fingers.
What is the max an anatomy can be trained, excluding expertise and mastery? I'm a bit confused on this. The help file says "They learn this from mere mobs (up to 2x level), yet sparring with a living opponent will result in far faster progress." Does this mean 2x the level of the character, or 2x the level of the mob? A level 50 character would max anatomies at 100?
And a second question while we are talking about blademasters. What exactly is the purpose of footwork aside from the attack? Why would anyone want to take the position of left or right when you get more attacks AND dual parry with middle. It seems kind of pointless to wield 2 weapons and only attack with one of them, or am I missing something here?
2x the level of mobs ie: level 25 mob you'd learn the anat to 50%. You'll have to experiment with the expertise and mastery and you'll have to experiment with the footwork(it has benefits).

Play with it and you'll figure it out. I suggest using weapons with different attacks.
Unless I am mistaken, when wielding two weapons and hitting only with one, the other is feigning, and the one you do hit with will hit ever time.
I could be wrong, though, but that is what I got from the helpfiles.
