I'd heard that mastered tiger stance allows twin-tiger with weapons, but have never gotten it to work in my admittedly limited (20 minutes or so) fights with mobs. Is this little tidbit true, or was I led astray by a fellow monk afficionado.
Tiger Master
Why would you bother wielding weapons as a monk other than to train?
Vulns, my dear Pali.
If memory serves you can only pull off chakras and such when youre unarmed
that may be true but you do faw less with vuln weapons because you would only attack like once maybe twice a round.
Only once, but if the vuln was a big enough deal, then I could see it being worthwhile. If you have mastered their anatomy, and are hitting twin tigers every other round with it? Yeah, it'd be worth it.
I have never seen a monk win a fight while armed aginst a concious opponent.
The issue is, has someone who's played a monk seen twin tiger hit w/ a weapon, that's all.
Nope.
Why would you want to do that when you can do dragon stance and do the special unspeakable thing with a vuln weapon?
The point is, you can't.
I'd just heard in game it was possible to hit twin tiger with a weapon, and am trolling to see if it's true. Reasoning is not important, just straight-up feasibility.
As far as I know, stance specials don't work with a weapon. Have never seen it happen.
You've said that already, now I'm looking for people who haven't said anything yet.
It can't happen.
WC
It can't happen.
WC
^^^
Alright, a fellow monk lied then - I'll take WC's word as gospel.
So WC is gospel and I'm roast ham.
Thats it, bring it on WC, your going down. Muahahahahahahha!!!
Nah, it was more the chorus of voices that disagreed. One says no, that's nothing. Three, that's quite a bit.
Damn I was looking forward to a nice duel with pistols at ten paces (five each).
Oh, by all means, duel away. Don't stop on my account.
