so, ummm, how do you pay a 30k enterance fee if you can only carry 20k?

Deposit the gold into a bank, then withdraw the 30k from the bank. It's how I was told to do it as my Druid. Also you can talk to the Imm in charge of the clan and have them induct you straight away (send notes to the clan if you don't know who the Imm is).

I always jsut talk to the imm in charge, or the player leader.

as Tantangel said deposit the gold and and withdraw it out of the bank. You can hold more than 20k if you withdraw it.
