Hey, could this Death's Head shenanigan thing kill me if I'm trying to master the spell? Even with my force field up?

Virtually nothing survives a Death's Head, unless it has massive HP and sanc.
Death's Head ignores all damage reduction.

I was under the impression that Death's Head was EXTREMELY rare. As in, at one point in mid 2.0 or so, I heard that DH had only been summoned twice or so, out of all the bmgs that had ever used meteor. Is that assumption incorrect, or has the summon rate been massively increased?
Im going to make a BMG and cast meteor until I get it 5 times, then I will be 1337
By the time I had my BMG (early 2.0 within the first 3 months or so of it), I had become like the third person to ever have summoned the Death's Head. It was wierd, because like a week before that Viri had posted about how rare it was to happen as it has to be a specific time/date to occur, and the first time I bothered casting it when mastered I end up getting it. And I wasn't even in a PK.
I think that's what I was thinking of, Tant.

ALL damage reduction. DH plays no favorites, forcefield or not. I've casted it like 3-4 times. Twice in Winter. Survived 3 castings. Some of my group has survived it (about half).
Fortunately, all my castings were at pinn.
But, due to it's rarity, don't let DH prevent you from casting.

there was one not too long ago about a month, If you pay attention to your time command, it isn't hard to miss.
I summoned it twice with my avian bmg Savant, Letharius. Then, of course, a certain ogre ranger killed me, because he happened to be standing next to me, and it initiated combat. :-P

I summoned it on Senios as I was killing the black dragon in the arena....I lost that one.
Elloran had a log of him doing it and his group dying but he lived I believe.

Not everyone died, the cleric and healer both being elfs died. Tyranon sp? the storm warrior almost died.
