All right, experts.

LLyros, Damn but it waas fun interacting with him. That was just plain nasty, those days. heheh

If you have your heart set on a 50, screw thieves, you will be pissed whe you get there.

from rank 22-40 thieves are an effing powerhouse that can't be taken down. At those ranks, you could prolly stand your chance against ogre warriors and mino zerks...but past that rank, you become consideribly weaker. I know, I have played more thieves than any other class. They are FUN at 50...very fun, but if you are USED to playing them at 30, and then try at 50...you will be disappointed, its an entirely different ballgame.

Playing at 50 is nothing like playing at any other rank. At 50, people don't forget you...new prey doesn't come along as the old leaves or ranks faster than you. Anyone you piss off WILL come back to haunt you.

But if you really like thieves and want to play one at 50, here is my advice.

  1. Your days of fighting without enlarge against any bashing class are over.

  2. Your days of relying on your backstab for the kill are over, traps are now your doomday, learn to use them well.

  3. Your days of fighting zerks and warriors are limited, because they will own your *** if they have any skill at all, unless you are amazingly prepared.

  4. Your days of staying unhidden for longer than 3 ticks are OVER, everyone will want your head...and they will make every attempt to take it.

  5. Get used to being treated unfairly, people hate rogues.

  6. Realize you can't kill everyone, let those you cannot kill go.

And my final rule for thieves at 50...have the following under your affects before you enter combat.

Bless

Armor

Sanctuary

Fly

Protection(unless neutral)

And possibly, depending on the situation:

Stone Skin

Haste

Frenzy
