songs and spells

are songs spells?

erm i mean as in. If i cast a song on someone who doesn't like magic would they be pissed at me

You can only cast harmful spells on gladiators but I don't know about songs, have to travel with Senrail and see if they affect him. And if anybody thinks they can make it to lvl 50 without using magic in any form....I'll have to give them props(I'm sure it's possible, just unlikely they'd survive very easy)

Depending on the class of your character, it can be pretty simple to survive without magic before and during 50. Most of my fights with Zrothum I did not use sanctuary.

edit... I've been up for two days and when I posted this and read it again...I realized how completely stupid that statement is. I'm not going to erase it, I want to leave it there as a reminder of how idiotic not sleeping can be.

Why not ask them? Sounds like a brilliant lead into some RP.

Technically songs are not spells, which doesn't mean people will not get ticked at you, but songs go under "songs" and spells under "spells," you sing songs and cast spells, and they don't cross over in your lists so they aren't the same.

Anyone who has played the old warmaster will tell you getting to and surviving at 50 without magic is possible.
