It might be a good idea for the cabal imms requirements to be posted in the clan. A player just asked me why he wasn't getting cabaled and had no idea about them. Felt it was kinda strange having to direct him to the forum for something like this.

Some cabals, unfortunately, are in a dead zone where there just aren't cabal IMMs. I think Savant and Warmaster IMMs are managed by other immortals like Anume or Erelei. But I believe Zoichan is out of town or just busy as hell in RL. I could be wrong about this though.

Doesn't that require an Elder and huge number of cps? I have neither in the cabal he seeks to join.

Cabal Sponsor was once a command. E status is required.

Literally how do you all forget about @Tempirion? He's one of the more visible imms.
Having a forum presence does make a difference.
Not that there's anything wrong with not having one.

I thought he was just a name..? I thought it was Anume running the IMM for Savant..
@Tempirion is definitely a separate entity from @Anume and me. And @Tongar AFAIK still takes care of WM. If he's away, Anume usually steps in.
Realistically though, we all keep an eye on whats going on. I am always checking on cabal status - even if the cabal has a very active imm aka Nexus.

[edit] Even more so, when you consider the date..... which is a time when Knight was down and needing members badly.

100% agree - Given our current issues around playerbase size I would say this should be pretty much an immediate change, and we are going to run up against this problem more and more.
I'm usually on even if you can't see me. Don't think anyone has had to wait long at all for savant lately due to our lack of #s.

Speaks volumes of how important players consider their characters considering the above aren't Knights right now.
I remember hand inducting 3 people after this happened. They still did not play though.
I agree though that it would be a good change to change the 0 votes to default acceptance, if this is possible, @Erelei?

Do we need (zero) votes to count as a yes to make it work? What if the application's submission counts as a single yes vote? Since Staff can vote an infinite number or times, denial would still be possible.
Either a 0=approved or cabal application weight is +1, it's largely irrelevant.
Staff can vote an infinite number of times? From my experience it's one vote, but cabal immortal vote weight is 20, which is controlling majority.
Still, the end result is the same.
