I dont think either of us had either sanc or prot. I was using garmex axe double gripped. Was keeping up in damage at first but monks gonna be monks. A staff might be able to defend a bit better but it would be much harder to keep my hands on. Feels like monks knowing staffs whips and polearms makes warriors defensive and offensive options against them very underwhelming. Axe in theory is the best offensive weapon against them but you just get eaten alive by their damage. Assuming I had a vuln weapon axe I still lose this fight I think by ~25% of Thorks life.

Mace is 3 defensive ratings better than axe, I'm curious to see how Solar Mace stands up in this fight.

My hunch is if you ditch fire weapon for vuln weapon, he starts hitting you a lot more often and it doesn't work. But I could be wrong.

It's possible, it just feels odd I would get outdamaged by a monk in combat rounds as a fg warrior weilding an axe, which monks just dont know. Monks as they are now, are just better more versatile warriors.

In my head, and maybe this assumption is false, but a FG warrior wielding a fire axe shouldn't be overwhelmingly losing combat rounds to a class that doesn't know axes :/
