Aabahran[17:20:13] Gernirac told you 'I understand you are a Master Blacksmith. '
[17:20:25] You told someone 'Yes, dear, I am.'
[17:20:47] Gernirac told you 'Do you seek an Apprentice? I wish to learn.'
[17:21:10] You told someone 'Potential competition?'
[17:21:40] Gernirac told you 'Potential student. Rarely does the student surpass the teacher.'
[17:21:44] You told someone 'Tell me, why do you seek to apprentice with such weight?'
[17:22:36] Gernirac told you 'Independence from the other Duergar, the Humans, the Elves. Everyone.'
[17:23:07] You told someone 'Why not work with the leathers?'
[17:23:31] Gernirac told you 'There is solace in the heat. Calm in the hammer. Peace in the quenching.'
[17:23:49] You told someone 'That there is.'
[17:24:05] Gernirac told you 'Hides and leathers cannot compete with the tang of metal.'
[17:24:29] You told Gernirac 'Not many are as strong as they once were.'
[17:25:34] Gernirac told you 'My work will be for myself. None others. Not competition.'
[17:26:11] You told someone 'What do you seek to learn?'
[17:27:00] Gernirac told you 'As I have just earned my first pair of tongs, I seek to know the process. The how, the why.'
[17:27:21] You told someone 'You will want to look for copper, lead, and iron veins specifically.'
[17:27:55] You told someone 'Smelt them at the forge and craft daggers until your eyes bleed.'
[17:28:31] Gernirac told you 'This I can do. I will use this knowledge.'
[17:28:58] You told Gernirac 'The vast majority of metals you will actually want to use will be far beyond you for some time.'
[17:29:09] Gernirac told you 'I am patient.'
[17:29:44] You told someone 'I could craft you tools.'
[17:29:51] Gernirac told you 'So you will name me an Apprentice? It will be an honor.'
[Hit Return to continue]
[17:30:09] Gernirac told you 'I am probably not worthy of sucj tools yet.'
[17:30:20] You told Gernirac 'Yes. I accept that honor.'
[17:31:33] Gernirac told you 'Then I will set myself to work, using your imparted wisdom.'
[17:33:47] You told Gernirac 'Your tools are done'
[17:34:11] Gernirac told you 'You do me more honor than I deserve. Where shall I meet you?'
[17:34:19] You told Gernirac 'Maelbrim.'
[17:34:57] Gernirac told you 'I come.'
[17:35:54] You told Gernirac 'Next to Tamara.'

[18:28:09] Gernirac told you 'Mistress, a question?'
[18:28:12] You told Gernirac 'Yes?'
[18:28:29] Gernirac told you 'Have you found cobalt to the best material to forge with?'
[18:28:39] You told Gernirac 'No.'
[18:29:21] Gernirac told you 'I see. I'm sure there are some I've never seen before. '
[18:29:32] Gernirac told you 'Back to work. Thank you, Mistress.'
[20:56:44] Gernirac told you 'Greetings, Mistress.'

[20:57:04] Gernirac told you 'One question, if I may?'
[20:57:24] You told Gernirac 'Go ahead, dear.'
[20:57:27] Gernirac told you 'Are there other forges, other than the one in the Sanctuary?'
[20:57:39] You told Gernirac 'Not that I know of.'
[20:57:50] You told Gernirac 'There is one in Dischord, however, I've never tried to use it.'
[20:58:11] Gernirac told you 'I see. I doubt I'll go there for some while. My thanks, Mistress.'
[20:58:47] You told Gernirac 'You just need to stockpile the lower metals.'
[20:59:10] You told Gernirac 'You can smelt the larger ones, but it is best to just craft with copper, lead, and iron.'
[20:59:16] Gernirac told you 'I fill my back to the brim, then head to the Sanctuary and make daggers, just as you said.'
[20:59:32] You told Gernirac 'Excellent!'
