Haymaker doesn't look to be haymakerin!

I understand this is probably a joke, but I'm going to answer as if it wasn't.

Haymaker's working just fine here.
In the first bout, haymaker was used four times. Three of those times was before they raged and all three of those failed to nobody's surprise. After they raged, it was successful. Even knocked off some things.
In the second bout, it was used twice. Both while raging. 50% success rate. Which tracks.
As for dispelling ... there's a chance it won't. And then even if it runs through the "is this affect going to be dispelled" section, you're still not guaranteed for it to be dispelled.

In the second bout, it was used twice. Both while raging. 50% success rate. Which tracks.
As for dispelling ... there's a chance it won't. And then even if it runs through the "is this affect going to be dispelled" section, you're still not guaranteed for it to be dispelled.

When you say just fine, what is the intended land rate when not enraged? 25%? 10%? pretty much forces you to enrage to use your skills. Both fights fight lasted 2 ticks, which means I'd be enraged the entire fight to even attempt a haymaker.

also, haymaker is only knocking off a few random spells, if I'm expected to enrage the entire duration of a fight to have a 50% chance to knock off a few random spells that might not even be important, that's not a very good tradeoff for that much risk.

There's a few moving parts with this question. The short version is that you get a sizable bonus when you rage.

Right. As it's acting like Dispel Magic, you're not going to get everything all at once, and not everything will be dispelled. Though haymaker can dispel some things that Dispel Magic cannot. Assuming you fire the dispel chance to begin with. Which also gets a sizable boost when you're raging, for what it's worth. There's a few other key skills that either get additional affects or a sizable bonus to the skills when raging.
Rage: a core skill for berserkers. Though a double edged sword.

Berserkers are an odd class. In my experience they are 100% just be willing to commit to the fight ending one way or the other. If you're not anger path, I wouldn't bother haymakering without rage, even as anger rage makes it better. A berserker who isn't raging is just a bad warrior. You gotta just accept the fact you're gonna take some deaths, but you're also gonna get some very nasty wins
