This is strictly a name change request. From the actual use and description in helpfiles, Kenjutsu's focus is on the open hand strikes. Kenjutsu is the art of sword. Taijutsu would make more sense since its the art of empty hand combat.

Considering you have to wield a sword for this skill to fire off.. that's why I named it Kenjutsu.
Yeah, but I think the problem is that kenjutsu specifically refers to sword skills. Slashing, parrying, and so forth. Not necessarily sword bearing/handling though. Japanese have other words for that stuff. It is more of a word for form(s) of sword fighting, distinct from simply slashing someone or otherwise using a sword. Kenjutsu are formal skills with a sword---you can use them at the same time as formal skills with your hands, body positioning, wrestling, whatever..but those aspects wouldn't be kenjutsu..they'd be some other jutsu.
In English, it would be like calling your punching skills marksmanship, just because it is done with a pistol in your other hand.
Maybe just call it jutsu. I think that should cover just about everything.

Not to mention it works on spears, which spear arts would be Sojutsu.
