Voting

I know this sounds self serving but what if we got RP points for voting?

No good way to track it. Also not RP.

We could screen shot it or come up with some idea. RP can be gained by just helping others reach Pinnacle, so going off that it shouldn't be completely out of the question.

Helping people get to 50 is in-character and game-impactful. 99% of the time, it also involves talking and learning about each other's characters. 

Voting is none of those things.

Well I see voting helping the game by bringing in new players. I believe if we had more players would equal more chances of role play to occur.  There for rewarding voting with RP is not such a bad idea. Again it's my belief. 

Also totally for keeping RP rewards for helping people reach there Pinnacle.

I suggested rp points for pins to aid in ranking because back in the day it was a nightmare to rank up, and giving even just a bit of incentive has turned that completely around. Where as voting might drive up players, it has nothing to do with your character. That'd be the same as suggesting that one should get rp points for say writing an essay or something like that. Rp points are a reflection of the character, not the player, so where as it's definately good to vote and help out in other ways, it's not really anything to do with your ig persona.

Also, most of those voting sites do or did have restriction on rewards for votes (along with other ways of generating votes such as making it a requirement).

Always good to come up with new ideas though! Keep that machine turning.
