Character Background and Description Forum

One issue with the character background tool is that it appears to be limited to player - imm interactions.

In the interest of preserving the unfortunate souls of this world, such that those visiting may gain something by remembering them, I suggest opening a character background and description sub-forum.

It would be like this:

Forum: Character Memories/Background/Description/Achievements etc. (open to debate)

Post: Mali

Description: Mali wanders the forsaken lands, but you can remove his tongue and put it in your shoulder pad.

Background: Mali is at the intersection of Ryan Gosling and Zorro-aged Antonio Banderas. His motivation is to love you.

etc.

In all seriousness, so much potential for fiction is lost with each character death. I would love to read the descriptions and backgrounds that people have spent time and energy on (at player discretion) and so enhance the game world whether I am in it or on the forum.

I actually like this a lot. Its one thing to post your history with your good bye thread. Something else entirely to have Character History of Aabahran forum. Where characters who die or delete could place histories about these characters, possibly providing other players with starting points for their future characters. Such as a history of the Corimaks could provide. It also may inspire new players to get more involved.

There's something in the works here in game.
