Clan Quest Suggestion

Currently clan quests are handed out by the Clan Master to clan members who are not actually in the inner circle (cabal) of the clan. These quests seem to serve only to aid the individual. I suggest we make a slight change that makes these clan quests aid the inner circle (cabal) in some small way. Off the top of my head I thought maybe if a quest is completed by the clan member then a very small CP bonus could go to the members of the inner circle (cabal) members who are present at the time, and to the leader when he arrives if no cabal member is present when the quest is completed. I believe this would create a bridge between cabal members and their pupils. Perhaps it would make it more interesting if completion of the quests could somehow affect cabal warfare for a very limited time. Causing Cabal members to order the clan members to hurry up and get that quest done. Just a thought.

Ah great suggestion. Split it between those members that are around.

That will actually make the people from the cabal follow who does quests and who doesn't.

Great suggestion, except one minor part: Let's not reward any cabal member, especially the leader, if they are offline.

Yeah, I suppose your right mudder about awarding someone with great power who was not present at the time. My hope was to cause talk among the active members of a cabal about the helpfulness of those who are actively taking time out of their own training and ranking to aid the clan. Thus helping those who complete quests by possibly securing a yes vote when their time comes to apply for the cabal. In my mind this gives an RP reason for a Lich to vote yes to a Healer seeking to join the Tower she runs. While she may not like the healer or anything he stands for, she has seen proof of his allegiance to the tower.

I still wonder if a boost to the cabal warfare wouldn't be a more interesting change. Training time, or travel time, lowered for a short period of time. Perhaps a strengthening or weakening of garrisons. Would be awesome to see this;

A small group of your clansmen rally and undermine the fortifications to the Vortex.

or,

Your clansmen come to the aid of the Vortex. (Creating a new guard in front of the garrison) <This would allow clansmen to slow their future enemies regardless of being in the cabal. Would also let enemies know that someone is interfering. Also its not like clanquests are constantly active so the uncabaled hero could not be a permanent pain in the back side, just a thorn.

Why not reward the cabal leader? Or all the members fairly?

If you're a member and you have less then 2000cps before becoming a Veteran you are doing something wrong. (This excludes any in game purchases for eq or unfortunately for WM their cabal as their skills CHEW cps).

What difference does 2-3 cps per quest completed do for them? Nothing.

Since when does rewarding all members fairly mean rewarding offline members? If you want rewards, be active, play the game. You should never get benefits for something you didn't do and were offline while happened.

If I kill an enemy caballer. All my online cabal allies get cps. Are you suggesting it is unfair that offline members of the cabal don't also get cps?

Im really confused about how this relates to the clan quest idea?

Why don't we just completely start another topic:

I expect when other people in the cabal get promoted we should all get promoted <----- See, its that easy to add stupid comments.

Reign it in, the two of you.

I love watching Anume trying to restrain people other than myself. Makes me feel so naughty.

#awkward f0xx comment.
