Puerilaug’s dispels are on freaking point! Trust me, I know from experience, haha.

Won't make that mistake again.

I'd be 100% spell killing dispel. You run the risk of losing your lag protection. Between snake speed, death weaver, spell kill, you'll give any necro a hard time.

I'm not so familiar with the weapon you're using, if it is a spear, don't use it. Polearm is a must against necromancers, you'll notice a huge decrease in incoming mob damage.

Are Demons your most proficient race fighting?  Critically hit the Temple, or the heart if they are.

Focus on his zombie. Stay sneaky.  If you spell kill dispel many other terrors are coming so be in and out and be prepared to try and draw out the fight.  You'll need protection from energy drain.  He'll no doubt try to destroy your mind.

Good news!  It's a polearm which can be found in the Sea-Elf Cay.

Be in deathweaver, Spellkill dispel magic, leverage onslaught for a chance at a pinwheel disarm and if you do disarm him, follow THAT with a critical strike that makes sense for the fight.  Ivessiana used that simple path to shut down my vamp every single time, except she would spellkill magic missile and also had unique mastery so she would blind me if I lagged myself.  But that's the point, don't lag yourself with unnecessary critical strikes at the opening of a fight.

I don't know what your race is but it would seem mental saves are in order for you too.

My bold. Don’t focus on necro pets. They have a tremendous amount of hp when tapped, flee constantly, regen a ton and he can summon a new one without losing much dps. 

The main focus should be on getting the necro away from his minions. Heavy pressure.

There are a number of tactics you can use, however, before you use any of those, you need to get your AC to minimum -450. The goal is to get it to -500. But start with -450 first. This will help you sit in combat longer. 

Tactic 1: Stick and move take away his mind

Stance: Deathweaver    Spellkill: Dispel magic.   (You can master spellkill with Iggy)

Now, what your going to do is open up with a charge to lag him. Then Crit hit his head and flee. Come back with a charge, onslaught twice, flee, use your healing if you have taken some damage. Come back charge, Crit hit his head again. Flee, Charge and now go for the onslaught to get a pinwheel if you feel your out-damaging him. ONLY IF you are out-damaging. If you are not, you flee, charge and crit his eyes and gauge how the fight is going. If you feel your are winning the exchange, make sure to crit hit legs too if you have time.

You should make sure you are affected by: Armor, Shield, Stoneskin and Flesh armor every fight. If you don't have these don't fight him.

Also, with that Trident you were wielding, make sure you throw in a few energy drains if you can. However, it does miss a lot so might be better off crit hitting head as I mentioned. 

Tactic 2: Go for the disarm (Advanced)

Stance: Iron arm    Spellkill: Dispel

This move is a little more risky, but what you want to do is have two weapons on standby in your doublesheath, while your wielding a Polearm to be as defensive as you can. You won't be deathweaving so you must be flying and you must watch for the bashes from his pets. But, the idea is you crit hit his eyes, then immediately draw your two weapons and go for the disarm. Once you are successful, you switch back to Polearm.  You just have to be mindful of the ticks for this to work best. For this to work you will need a cursed weapon and a secondary weapon that gives dual parry buffs. You will also need good AC and defenses. 

Also remember, As a Doomblade you want to be more Hit focused vs Dam Focused. Your Powerstrike will make you hit max damage with your weapon. So minimum 40 Hit. Ideally you want to be in the 50-60's. 

Also remember one dispel and 9/10 your dead with a Necro. So, be careful.
