The reason I don't play shamans, is that I played one, and it was ridiculous easy to kill people and hard to get EQ. They also sorta have this strange recepie like approach when you recite this x,y,z spells in sequence. They are very strange.

I have no idea how he did it, I would struggle vs an undead. But then again there are thieves killing Vampires...

Healers suck because of PK restrictions. If healers were more free and had more interesting spells, more people would play them.

What seperates them from goodie clerics though if you go too far with that? They are in a tough spot where if you remove restrictions, you're affecting their RP then whats the incentive to play a goodie cleric instead of a healer?

If you were wearing the +1 spell level good item and the Ethernal Radiance, in your fight vs a giant It would land most likely 20% of the times, or better. Some skill of playing a mage is looking at your opponent EQ, and guessing his saves. And a BMG is the only one with decent access to the 3 schools of magic.

I would probably eaten his glimmering stave and force him to use herbs. It wouldn't matter in the end, but he would get angry. :D

BMG's suffer from an inability to reduce saves.  It's really that simple.  Slow is the only advantage spell they have.  Upkeep is ridiculously tedious given how long it takes to create a win condition for this class.  Would love to see an experimental addition of Magic Missile to the BMG arsenal.

What's the incentive of playing a Paladin vs a Cleric? Or a shaman vs a Evil Cleric? Class mechanics.

Clerics are based on mental spells, healing and meele damage.

Good themed Healers could be based on healing, and maledictive spells. I could see a healer more like a monk, not using spells weapons and using his hands to do inverse healing.

Healer guys touches your main arm, and you feel a great numbness. -50 second attack.

Healer guys touches your forehead, and your feel a splitting migraine growing.. -35 managain.

Critical strikes, delivered by hands, using inverse healing touch. :D

I actually kinda like that. I'd say make it only applicable if you're using the healer staff afforded to them. Different staff created is capable of different things. Friar staff can do something that a healer staff can't, etc.

Though, if healer PK ability is raised, they need to lose their able to survive. Look at druids. They are damn near impossible to kill because of druid gate, but we buffed their output. Druids RARELY die. Sarcon, when's the last time you died on a druid that wasn't due to you just messing up?
