It's always a bit of a shock when a class that you're expecting your own to have the advantage over defeats you handily. The first time Vaelrasa and Behrath fought I expected @kamikazi to be at a disadvantage given the usual encounter between Rangers and bmgs - instead, the only fight I came close to winning was the one where he finally killed me (damned fury making me fail three casts in a row with him at awful ;) ). I don't know that I ever gave him proper kudos for that well-earned and gutsy victory, so I'd like to do so here.

Thief vs. Crusader (especially a storm crusader) is actually a pretty easy fight for the thief who has access to vuln daggers and doesn't allow themself to get lag-locked. Curious if it was one of my thieves :P
How, as a thief, do you not allow yourself to get laglocked? :P
If you're a Nexus Pandy, or venom sacks, or those boots everyone loves. Also dirt + shed skill...but i say that cuz I've only played slith thieves. Guess it's a little harder for others.
Edit: What I meant by my comment is the fight is easy IF you don't get lag-locked. Ironically, the only sader to successfully kill a thief of mine was that elf Corimak Tribunal vs. a watcher thief I was playing at the time. But he was using a venom sack and I wasn't.
