The Northern Commons
The center of the northern half of Maelbrim, the Northern Commons is a
distribution point for food to the locals and a meeting place of less
formality than the Forum. Set with limestone, the foundations of this area
are firm and elegant. Wide enough to support machines of war or a line of
defenders, the tactical and logistic value of this part of town was not
ignored. The battlements of the massive Aabahran Gate are to the north of
here. To the southwest is the Milieu. The Temple of Darkness is to the
northwest. The Temple of Compassion is to the northeast of here. To the
south lies the Forum, the center of Maelbrim.

Eyes as pure white as snow stare back at you. A visible scar
made by a jagged blade of magical properties can be seen
across his face in a linear fashion from one temple to the
other. Oddly, however, the cut marks seem to have visibly
faded altogether in the areas just around both pupils. The
rest of his face appears rather mundane and simple, typical
for a man of human heritage. Strands of ungroomed and honey
brown hair can be seen laying tattered across his tanned
forehead. At least his facial hair has been shaven clean
making the lower half of his face seem a little more kempt
than the rest of his face. Wire thin lips are visible in a
perpetually pursed together fashion as if in constant deep
contemplation.
He is also dressed comfortably in various light clothing.
Although much of his flesh is masked beneath what appears to
be the standard attire of a monastery dweller, one can see
he has paid special attention to detail in making sure to
conceal sturdy titanium metal guards about his wrists and
special enchanted prayer beads about his hands that would
add to his striking ability. Despite the small frame that
composes the monks figure, his height towers well over six
feet. His body was obviously conditioned for stealth and
agility as opposed to the traditional brute strength of
the standard fighter. A visible pose making up a well
controlled stance seem to indicate his skill in the lethal
punches and kicks that monks are known for.
Tarsonis currently holds the title of Master Questor of Aabahran.
