Ouch! Execution. Nothing you could have done. Most fights in which the necro manages to sleep you and spells you up, end in a win for the necro.

Looks like plague and weakness caused you to drop all your defenses.

Yep, weakness dropped the shield and sword, blind meant I was done and done.

Just like everyone above said, once that necromancer lands sleep its a done deal.. Makes me wonder why a certain skill was given to necromancers that rhymes with "shminsonmia"... Imagine a necromancer with "shminsomnia" as a Syndicate or a Temporum Savant...

Waiiiit, necromancers have insomnia now?

Until you all know the specifics of a class, in particular, the ability of this one apparently being able to cast insomnia in the middle of the round without actually casting it, let's keep the "OMFG OP!" discussions to a minimum. Play the class, then bring your issue to the prayer forum.

The soul path of necromancers can create a ghost that can cause insomnia when it lands an attack. I do not know much more about it than that. 

EDIT: Just so everyone is aware, I do not know the specifics of the skill outside of what I said above. I'm not sure if it is easily savable, if it is dependent on specific factors, nothing. All I know is that it is available.. I'm hoping we're allowed to discuss these things openly as the class is no longer in beta.. lol.

I have no issue with people discussing it. It's people assuming and making assumptions of a class without actually knowing, and then spreading false rumors.

Meh, if all the "assumptions" were correct, then there would be thrill in the discussions :P

The initial start of the fight is, I was walking through Val Miran and he walked faster and slept me, spelled up, summoned, slaughtered. 

 

Its not not meant to be educational, it's a log off a fight gone terribly bad for one character that is meant to show how much I suck. I don't remember how my spell saves are other than I've got more now to hope they help.
