Instrumentalist - uses songs to greater effect, gets access to special songs
Street Performer - a more acrobatic bard capable of performing a variety of agile maneuvers
Trickster - a bard that is especially adept at the arcane arts, and uses them to fuel his cons and ploys
Paths are optional, and can be selected at anytime between levels 25 and 35. Not selecting a path yields the current bard (though with a few fixes, like two handed that these paths should get as well).
Instrumentalist -
Shield of Words grants an extra defense (similar to blur) while the bard holds an instrument.
Good Tidings increases chance to retain good luck
Leviathan's Passing uses a deluge attack while a spring is present, or over water
Weak of Mind and Body drains the enemy
Four Seasons does 15% increased damage
Mystery of the Unicorn allows the bard to select its buff
Clash of Titans causes the next song within 0 ticks to trigger another earthquake
Herald of the Sky removes insomnia, grants a short duration resistance against sleep spells
Lullaby causes a drowsy effect against anyone not following the bard, lowering damroll
Flight of the Condor grants flight for 0 ticks instead of just one room
King's Feast can create max hunger food from nothing
Battle Hymn has an increased duration
Rest in Peace sung at a higher level
Water to Wine more consistantly makes better booze
Legend of Hercules increases damroll
(special song) Vigilant Protector - So long as the bard remains awake and in the same room, the bard will be alerted by the Vigilant Protector when anyone enters or exits the room (except imms of course). Learned at level 40.
(special song) Pure of Body - Attempts to remove a single malediction. Learned at level 35.
(special song) Harrowing Journey - grants haste, and must be sung again to end the effect. When the effect ends, the bard takes damage and is drained based on how long the effect lasts. Cannot log out under this effect, and cancelling it is an action that bloodies the bard. Learned at level 50.
Street Performer -
(special passive) Throw, but not autothrow, has an extra effect based on your current tarot. Learned at 30.
(special passive)Rolling With the Punches - When bashed/grappled/bodyslamed/shoulder smashed, automatically throws the first set of cards in the bard's inventory. Learned at 50.
Agility - A skill with multiple effects, which progress in a linear fashion.
(L35) Flourish - Grants an extra defense, based on dexterity
(L40) Aerial Strike - Deals damage, damage increased significantly if the enemy is flying.
(L45) Sommersault - Flees in a chosen direction, kicking the enemy in the opposite direction. Damage is based on kick proficiency. If the opposite direction is not an exit, damage is increased.
Trickster -
(special passive) Increases spell level by 1 for Word of Recall, Armor, Invisibility, and Detect Invisibility.
(bonus spell) Teleport. Learned at 42.
(bonus spell) Mirror Image. Learned at level 35.
(bonus skill) Suckerpunch: When casting magic missile, has a chance to also do a mid-damage physical attack. learned at 37
(special spell) Misdirection - Changes place (in the room) with a chosen mirror image. Learned at level 40.
(special spell) Illusory Blast - Casts a random afflictive spell, but with only half the damage. Which spell it casts is luck based. Costs very little mana. Can cast spells that the bard could not otherwise cast, but not q-thing spells. Learned at level 45.
(special spell) Befuddle - Confuses a charmie, preventing it from assisting its master. Can't be used in combat. Increased chance of failure the higher level the charmie is. Learned at level 50.
