Tired of the death of a thousand cuts?
Tired of blademasters that can't hit you but do more damage with weapons oprogs than you?
Or warriors, or rangers or ....
Fear no more. Lets create a new scroll, akin to the scroll of missile shield, that would block this stuff.
Perhaps a bit harder to get. Instead of shop bound, it could be on some decent mob in some place. Not factions... for example the Institute.
And of course give some sort of %chance for Battlemages to block it akin to missile scrolls.
A BMG can block ~50% of arrows with it's terra shield. Perhaps make force shield do this, or Manalock!!!
Can you imagine a BMG going manalock vs a meele? Lol.
Mechanically this is easy to code for normal weapon oprogs. Stuff like flags "sharp" (wrath), poison, acid (faerie fire), vorpal, lightning, shock and paralyzes.
Perhaps very hard for weapons spells, like the water cube.
