I suggest we open the Lloth religion for more than just drow. She is best known for her creation of the drow, and yes they are her chosen people, but she still has quite a few "domains" (showing my D&D nerd status) over which she has power. In many other media, she is actually worshipped by a wider range of races, albeit most popularly by drow.
With that knowledge, why is worshiping Lloth restricted to drow? I think it would open up for some very interesting RP to allow other races to worship her.
Edit: Of course, she would be an Evil deity, so there is that restriction...
I'm not talking about opening all religions to all alignments. I'm talking about opening Lloth to more than just drow. Neutral/Evil, or even just Evil only.
The reason behind those specifically are that, like the Drow, they're a subterranean race and all three pull a lot from each other. Duergar and Illithid more than the Drow, but it's there. Think of it as a cultural exchange done usually by force. Evil Avians don't make much sense as a whole worshiping Lloth except in the odd instance. Neither do Fire Giants. And so on.
