We can already buy sanctuary from Blackwatch shop.
Object 'gleaming white vial' is type potion, material glass.
Extra flags: none.
Weight is 0, value is 10000, level is 30.
Level 40 spells of: 'sanctuary'.
Why not allow some sort of L30 scroll of Sanctuary.
Perhaps even allow Clerics to write some defensive spells into scrolls.
Things like:
Armor
Shield
Stoneskin
Bless
Detect magic
Detect invisible
Detect good/evil
But keep them at max L30.
A market in making scrolls.
Interesting concept. I like.
If you're going to go with Clerics making scrolls, why not Mages making staves, too?
Good clerics are already insanely defensive. For that reason, and esp. spell turning and portal, they are already a little OP in my Opinion. Giving them an ability to buff themselves/others without tapping mana reserves (therefore leaving them an even greater amount to heal/go offensive) is overkill.
Don't like it. All those types of buffs are already avail in game. Don't need a cleric to write one to have an economy in it.
