Let me preface this by saying I really like this idea, and even though it's still in its beta, I had a couple ideas.
Share History
This would allow you to show another player any or all of your history/purpose/ etc.
Caballed players having their history become public knowledge as they move up in ranks, due to their notoriety.
I wonder if many have written their history in.
Share history is still being discussed. The issue in question is tha sharing history undermines the purpose of having t in the first place - to create a good rp foundation and promote game/character immersion. A command to share history would make actually RPing and having a conversation to share history pointless, because why do it if you can just type in a command.
If it does happen, it will happen with certain prerequisites jecessary before the command can be used.

P.S.: i've been bonusing people i see with full histories. There's a fair amount.
I understand your point, Volg. I saw this as a tool for me to get invested in a character, and I wanted to do it, with or without any sort of extra bonus involved. I think it would really promote building good relationships with friends and enemies alike. Then when you think you know them, they hate a few secrets and it opens up a whole new world.
Maybe attach a massive timer to sharing?

I like the History command Idea, I just can not bring myself to use it based on the following criteria;
How the hell does the person know my history when I am just an insignificant little character?
What will happen to RP? If I can read so-and-so's history, why would I ever ask him about his life?
And finally, I can not figure out how you could logically format your own personal history for another to read. In first person? Likely not. In third person? "rolls his eyes" Maybe I will use it eventually, for now I have to convince myself of its place in an RP world. Maybe if the command were only usable in the Library, meaning a player wanting your history had to "research" you, it would make more since.
History as of now is a gateway to your patron deity (or any immortal) so that you can much more easily explain and/or RP the way you want. Being that your deity should be all knowing, or at least have some sort of omniscient capabilities, the history command will help the IMMs better communicate and RP with your character.
Of course, it isn't absolutely NECESSARY, but this will help qclass or qrace applicants 10 fold for those who barely ever run into the IMM responsible for approving and denying applications.
At the current moment, players cannot read other player histories - only immortals can. As it stands, this may stay this way. It may not. It all depends on what happens in the future.
I hate the idea of being able to share your history. It just seems lazy to me to be able to do it that way instead of RP'ing it yourself.
