I know that this was a suggestion on Discord a while ago and I wanted to resurrect it here. There are a number of items in lawful areas that lawful characters will straight up never have access to. Even asking a Merchant to get it for them is basically breaking the law.
Lawful seems to be the least commonly played alignment and this is a bit of another reason to not play one.
Requesting would be a solution to this problem. Thematically if we wanted to keep "request" as a good specific action, things such as "requisition" and "expropriate" would fit the lawful concept. If it was wanted then these additional actions could also come with the cost of the value of the item, so request time and price where goodies do it free.
