Wwould be nice to have option to have 2 hirelings. Nothing to be used in PK but help leveling. Maybe rewards for clan quests?
I just find it slow and boring to level alone, if I had some hirelings would be fun I think

You can get two already, but the golem is pretty weak at higher ranks.
Just do Guild Quests. Pretty much the only thing I do from level 20-40 or so unless a group comes along. Even then though the last three characters I had I leveled a majority of the way from 41-50 too.
I realise there are group quests, but just thought it would be a fun idea. Could even have a hireling thats naturaly weaker then the others but acts as a nice tour guide to diffrent hunting spots dependong on your rank.
Just get the Alsatian not ocelot at L8 from the elven city. attacks x2
And the Stone golem at L15.
Gorrila at L20 (elven Kingdom) attacks x2
Garnizon at L30 from Duergar City (Bashes)
OR Soldier at L30 from the Avian City. (Dirts)
Also if you are ranking, forget saves go full HIT/DAM, or perhaps AC if you are a Mage.

Ocelot? Get the Alsatian from the elven city. Only pet you will need till 20. This thing is stronger that you until like lvl 15. This pet makes solo leveling any caster/communer very very easy. Those first few lvls after 7/8 will go by in a blink with this pet.
My mistake. It should have been the Alsatian (whatever animal that thing is) that can only be gotten at L8, the Ocelot is a very bad pet.
I think he's talking about a guide, not a combat pet. Like a mobile town crier that can guide you to places like everwild or catacombs.
Yeah that forsaken. But what I also ment was like a random quest reward thats like the golem. It would allow you to have another pet out. Just more options for ranking and stuff.

I am Awendris the cleric and im lvl 5 I just got out of the leveling area and the towncrier tells me as I pass him to check out the merc center. I go there and read the board and see that I can hire a merc and guide. So I do.

Yes! 2 Man Party!
I go and run and join my fav clan and it gives me a quest. With great luck I get a special quest reward. A merc (rped to be a member of said clan of mine) appears and praises me for sucha good job on that quests and would like to quest or hunt with me!

Something like along these lines. Make it so you can oly have three mercs and only one (the one you buy) will help you if you are grouped.
I think it is a fun idea, perhaps out of reach, but fun.
