I think this may have been brought up before, but I was looking over some of the racial helpfiles and...well... they are god awful. When I type "help slith" I would like to see a paragraph of where they're from, what they're capable of, what any vuln/resists might be, and what paths they NORMALLY follow.
The long-winded race histories should be put in maybe another file like "Help (race) lore" or something.
I feel like we had this talk not too long ago... Don't remember what the conclusion was... I remember a lot of people agreeing that it would be more newbie friendly to have a very simple racial overview for 'help ' and then move the lengthier lores to 'help 2' 'help 3' etc
When I re-joined I typed help race in the race selection part of the character creation.
Suffice to say I couldn't see what classes and alignments the races were.
