Exorcism

Now, I don't know the balance of this so give me a break here and just tell me if it's OP or not. But the thread below got me thinking about healers vs. Demons.

What if healers had a spell called Exorcism?

It would only work against demons.

It would remove their demon powers for 12 hours.

It could not be cast more than once every 48 hours.

Basically it would allow the host to come back into control of the body. Basically restoring the free will of the person in question.

I don't know how broken it would be, but IMO it certainly adds some flavor for RPing with demons etc. The Alehkzan plot really got me thinking about this.

So whatcha think?

Meaning the demon would have to understand the effects of the skill and properly RP it. I think it would be cool.

That idea sounds cool (theoretically) especially after Twin's twist.

You could even have it be a temporary thing and have it drain a LARGE amount of mana to cast.

The only trouble I can see with it is there are no demons in fl who did not WANT to be demons. The only thing you would get is a grumpy, confused human I think. Exorcism is reserved for unwanted possession, not ones that wanted it.

Who cares, we will rip the demon soul from within them. By force if needed be.

More John Constantine, less Pope John Paul I know, but I think that it would open up some RP possibilities. Not because people want to be exorcised, but because the human snapping back into control is going to be a bit peeved, confused, and possibly so disoriented they vomit!
