I am not a big fan of the current automatic cabal expulsion system. I will explain why with an example.
Lets say I roll a character which joins Tribunal on the first of the month. Lets say I am very active and I get promoted up to V in the first 5 days. Then lets say I lose interest and don't log in ever with this charactar. I will not get expelled on first the next month becuase I've already scored enough hours, but I will get expelled on the first of the month after the next which means that ~55 days without me ever logging on this character must pass so I get automatically expelled from Tribunal.
This is a A LOT of time. My suggestion is simple - change the system so it automatically removes characters that haven't showed in 30 days. I personally think that 30 days is still way too long, but that is the base.
There are currently such "dead" members which greatly slow the process of induction and since people won't leave their cabal by themself, we need such a system to remove them.
They don't slow the process of induction. The only time they would slow the process of induction is if the cabal is full, which currently none are (that I know of). In this case the cabal immortals will pro-actively start expelling people who haven't showed up in a long time. Or the cabal elders, or leaders if any will do this.
I don't have a problem with it currently since it gets corrected manually, eventually, anyway.
Yeah, it isn't really an issue. If there is a cabal which is actually full, we'll make appropriate considerations.
Now I don't want to call out characters and cabals, but there is a cabal that is full. And there are exactly such people sitting in not just one cabal.
I personally don't mind waiting for >150 hours for a cabal induction, but some actually might find this disturbing.
People don't wait 150 hours, or more for cabal induction. In fact, I've found it's much less of a wait lately (especially if the cabal imm is active). Like I've stated (and Zhokril has re-iterated) if it's happening it'll be taken care of.
If said imm is vacationing or MIA, post on the prayer forum about it and make sure another imm is taking care of things. Not that it means much but I've never had to wait more then 40 hours for a cabal induction. And.. I really doubt imms would mind you asking them why you haven't been inducted yet. You'd be surprised what kind of answers they might give to help you along the way
150 hrs? No way. NFW!
If I am going for a cabal, I will be pinned, trained, and likely waiting on a promotion in 100 hrs. And thats if I am going for a cabal with members who ARE around. If the cabal members are MIA, you can bet one immortal or another is taking note of the long hours and stellar RP I am throwing out there. I actually figure that if I am not getting in the cabal in a timely manner it has more to do with my personal RP and less to do with some fictitious Idea that a cabal can be "full" of "active" members. JMO.
I did ask and I was told that certain cabal is full so I will have to wait, hence my suggestion.
You don't need any more cabaled characters.
The issue in your case is quite different, we can talk about specifics in game if you want.
It is always a pleasure for me to talk to you ingame, Anume
