When thieves bother me, with my current main I hunt them down to kill them.
My problem is with thieves that are immune from any reprisal, getting eq from V/T's who are fighting cabal wars.
Though, I geuss reprisal isnt completly avoided, since the thief that ticked me off most recently is now pinned.

Not missing anything, just an opportunity for someone to get high demand loot with zero real risk. Plain and simple.
though, like I conceded earlier, the long term consequences arent even fully realized yet.
Pildo- Gnome invoker? Caster with a mental vuln who followed neutral ethos AND racial stereotype rp? HUGE exploit here folks.
Krusk- fire giant GLADIATOR who only fought with honor, and never went at unprepped foes? Do you realize EVERYTHING in glad requires mana? YOu know how hard it is to keep mana up as an FG zerk? Huge room for exploitation there.
Zix- In a world with mag resist blms, I take one that has a vuln EVERY CLASS can exlpoit, and forced me to sac lots of hit/dam for saves. HUGELY exploited.
Vogga- Feral thief? FERAL? Training was horrible, any bashing melee can screw me HARD. I have less perks than a halfer, no mag resist, no sweet recall town. ALL Very Classy Chars, Heavily Rped, good at PK, but not walking monsters. Kudos.

Oh it sucks, I've been there. I'm just saying, as far as short term gratification...just have someone deal with it for you. Long term, do it yourself obviously. I just like to try to find a method that is both vindicating and RP provoking.
