Bodyslamming as a dwarf can still be quite effective.
Haymaker/Uppercut fix
Just because your not "giant" sized doesn't mean you can't laglock like a man. You just don't have as much cushion if you miss, and you probably won't be able to get a "pure" laglock, as they will be able to flee after 3 or 4 rounds. But you can easily chase and continue the lagging. 
A lagged mage = a dead mage. Except maybe a spelled up Battlemage.
If anyone can show me a log of a headbutt actually doing something to a protective shield other than going through I'd like to see it. I had 105% headbutt of a PoF stone giant WM leader zerk and no, you cannot shatter protective shield with it. The help file is wrong. 2 rounds lag means you'd have to be VERY lucky to get a slam off before they flee and recast.
Maybe timing it and chasing with slam, but I'd bet more on timing hay against sanc then a fast chase. Besides, haymaker can take protective shield as well as sanctuary....

Someone told me that was fixed recently. Meaning headbutt can go through prot. shield now.
I heard the same thing too, and have no reason to believe it's not true, but I'll still be skeptical until I roll another Zerk.

You could always get it through (to stop casting) but never shatter it (destroy so you could slam). If its not a skill directed at taking out prot shield only it mightn't be so bad if you're not PoA since you can do something other than break your hand

Well he was saying he dropped protective shield THEN went for a haymaker. If he had time for the haymaker he had time for a bodyslam.
I remember on one of my OLD zerks i've broken a protective shield. It was a damn long time ago and no log. It might have just been cool timing when it dropped naturally, but I was pretty sure I did it.
