You are thinking of being exiled, yes. Being an outlaw doesn't mean the same thing. And let's stop it there, as we're really getting a bit too close
Trust me. 90% of the city stuff, besides basics like potions, are crap
. Also, the important basics, recalls and scrolls of flight, etc. etc., can be found in nearly every other city, from Xymerria to Rylsilesti, and more. Explore. Or, of course, you can always have unwanted friends buy'm for you.
The city guards are gimpy as hell; on some of my old shammies, I would just use them as an easy source for spirit bind, and I know I've seen Covus use the same trick. The gateguards can be strong, though, I gotta agree there. Just circle around town, though. Val Miran has the Eridani, Miruvhor has the Moat, and Rheydin has the wall, of course; just circle around the cities.
But yes, please feel free to bring individual complaints to the prayer forum.
Its those nasty "special" guards the cities have which are tough...like Viscount or Eulau or whatever...
OUCH!
Oh, yeah, and if you don't whre Rylislesti is, go find it
Buy you're flight scrolls there, then go to marak, buy all your crap...then kill the alchemist and get your gold back.
Rinse. Repeat.

Its just much less convenient being an outlaw/wanted.
Interesting I'll check those areas out moreso now. But Raargant I think those alternate routes don't work except for the Rheydin wall one, because all the cities have guards right before or at the entrance to each one, unless you wanna take the extra long way around and that's not always a good idea when being chased by non-tribunal and trying to get to your favorite hiding spot as fast as possible.. And I don't know about the prayer forum anymore, I don't wanna believe it, but i'm sensing some corruption.
Please post on what you think to sense there as well. Don't make us all curious and then say nothing.
Val Miran can be passed through without touching gate guards, as can rheydin, but the moat in miruhvor comes up in the ciry right at the gate guards in the northern and southern part, though the western part begins just before the gate guards.
Sure about that mister E? And I think its best I kept my investigation, findings and thoughts to myself, probably said too much already, **please **ignore my previous statements.
Mister E is correct. And he just mentioned the direct routes around.
Man if he's right, I've been acting like a noob, can't believe i've been playing here all this time and never realized that. Unless i'm confusing gateguards with city guards.
Hate to say it...but yeah, noobish indeed.
All 3 major cities have ways around them.
Miruvhor you will encounter guards and other obstacles, but not the others.
Yup. Virigoth specifically put in the great Rheydin wall thing just so to make Rheydin like the other two cities; avoidable, gateguard wise. And I agree, those gateguards, like I said, hurt.
And the Miruvhor guards are the sissy ones, since only the sissy guards wander around.
Haha, 'noobish indeed.' That should be your new quote Chayesh.
