Well, the strategy will be drastically different.
Dimbrik, my ogre dev glad, would just rage. I had my equipment near perfect so I didn't have to worry about much. I just all out raged and started throwing down some cabal skills. Now, this strategy won't work against a lot of classes though. Rathanous and his little pet will make me pay for that strategy if I can't time it perfectly. Also, if something went wrong I was basically boned.
My saving grace was I had ferocity and this:
[HP:1512/1512 MN:592/592 MV:452/452]
That much mana let me have a LOT of berserks. That HP is a little skewed due to my equipment, a few items I had on also gave me HP, so don't assume that was my base HP. Like I said, I was basically at 2k hp when I raged and able to get a lot more if I needed it due to berserk. That was HUGE when it came to fighting a lot of people.
As an Anger zerk, your strategy won't be dirt/rage/bodyslam. What I would do is time the rage and haymaker. Rage makes your haymakers/headbutts land more effectively. So, with a well timed rage/haymaker you can do exactly what you need to do with out the risk of failing and getting stuck. I can't tell you how many times I almost died because of missing haymaker when I depended on it the most. Anger would have solved that problem.
I see Anger zerks as basically a warrior-esque class with dispel. You won't be all out damage, but you will have a MUCH higher survivability level with the ability to make your opponent hate you. With haymaker changed to allow it for an opener, this can be very fun and very effective as most people tend to fire off a skill the moment they are attacked. Whether that be dirt kick, blind, or whatever. Congrats, you might have earned two monster rounds and maybe the ability to capitalize with a trip(if Barbarian
) or bodyslam.
Both have massive potential. I don't like Fury zerks as I think a zerk is either all in or not at all. The middle ground doesn't have much place in my opinion.
As far as Reaver skills, think about what they are able to create + FG's natural bonuses. That alone makes this combo extremely powerful. And if you can manage to get Elder, you are basically a god(watch out Thulgan).
