Is there a reason why invokers can't be demons?

They would be horrible vokers anyway lol. But I cannot really think of a balance reason why.

Level : 15-30

You must send a scroll of application to Immortal, scribing of your
history, goals, and any deeds you think may help your chances to be
approved. The scroll must bear the title which includes words demon
and application or it will not be considered. If your scroll is
approved you shall be made to know what else is required of you.

Because demons are creatures from hell and see the world through the eyes of the underworld, they cannot ever fully understand magic in The Forsaken Lands. Normal men and woman born into the land see more clearly than demons. Accordingly, invokers and psionicists have greater insight than most mortals into the arcane and control of their mana. They can be said to see with the eyes of the overworld. Demons can be battlemages because all the cutting and blood frenzy allows them great control over magic. Necromancers can be explained in a similar way in that all of the death around them gives them great power. Demon cleric power comes straight from Malchaeius. Dark-Knights, warriors, berserkers, and shamans are self-explanatory.
Demon ninjas are very unlikely, because they stink too much to hide and sneak around. Plus, demons are never very sneaky. It isn't their style.
A demon crusader could be cool...
Although it is not listed in the help file, demons can also be neutral bards.

Back in the day, though I may be wrong, Demons could be Invokers. Why they are not hard coded now...well, I am sure they staff have a good reason. Though, I have seen many "out of the ordinary" things transpire...with the right RP...anything is possible. Faerie Berzerker...Drow Healer...Demon Bard... more recent, though not current, Ninja Warmaster and Druid Savant.
I have seen many out of the ordinary occurances myself. I just see demon vokers as teh suck anyway.
I just want all classes open to all races hehe. I see no reason why an elf can be a warrior, but a half elf cannot be a cleric. Elves AND humans can be clerics, half elves cannot.

Have you ever seen malch or crypt? I think all demons HAVE to be stinky, massive monsters.

I believe demons can't be invokers because of a special bonus that demons have that deals greatly with an invokers arsenal.
It does not exactly apply the way you are thinking it does.
I could be wrong...but aren't demons inherently huge?

I'd like to point out that there was demon monk once upon a time also.
You can have almost anything you want with the right RP. Prepare to be gimped, though.
Demons can be Battlemages, so whoever said they can't be mages (psi, invoker) a battlemage takes just as much "insight".

The problem with that...well, ninja are all about the silent kill...Demon's are large creatures...wouldn't be able to hide and sneak so well...
hence, why I think the tall perk works against the hide skill... "shrug"

I played Loq as an handsome fellow with small horns and batlike wings. He wasn't stinky at all. Smelled like opium and sex.

No, I've never smoked it or done anything else with it....you just know these things sometimes...kids, pick your friends carefully.
If ogres can sneak around, I think demons could. They are demons after all...
