Actually I don't think you need to get outcast to do it. Just roll an evil adventurer and go bard.
On a related but different note, it's amusing to say that FL's most famous 'evil' bard, Gehenna the demon, was actually still neutral his entire life. Pissed Llyros (an avatar) off something fierce, so he would just t-spell in, hellstream once, then t-spell out. Funny stuff.

I have seen evil bards without the outcast flag. I know that you CAN NOT guild to one as an adventurer. Don't believe me? Human->evil->adventurer->guild bard->delete;delete if you succeed. Malch squashed just about every single adventurer remort bug I've seen... a couple of cleric ones that I ran into and he did them quickly and helped me out a lot (I reclassed an advent to cleric, had good spells and not evil ones, he offered to go in and change them around for me personally to get me the proper stuff.)
Although, I hear that evil bards are unbalanced because the King's Feast song does some uber awesome things for them... like totally uber awesomestuff.... I swear, I knew a guy who did it once and it was like... great....

It turns the food into a cure critical potion that also casts every protective spell in FL on you when you eat it. It IS amazing.
