Just dumb....I've given away (not even a TRADE) two very powerful characters before. A knight leader..and a fully trained knight elf battlemage. (fully trained meaning everything. To include armor, shield, stone, air, locate, id, det_i, det_ma, terra, plumbum, blur, fae fire, rust, dispel, blades, etc. etc. etc.)
Again...selfish isn't the word......stupid, comes to mind though.
I was kidding, the selfish comment was aimed at the fact that you traded characters, just not quest stuff. ie, you kept the good stuff for yourself.
Well, from what I've been experiencing....weapon training can be accomplished in under 24 hours. That's not really all too long.
This reminds me the one time i was hanging around Mirhuv (Old Mirhuv) savant gate and this undead monk walks into my room and attacks me without santuary. Be had been harrasing me for some time.
So i hit one Holy Wrath and he takes a <<<<<< Anialate >>>>> (or erradicates ???) and never seen him again. I never seen a character disapear so fast as him.
Maybe monks are weak after all.
Undead monks are AWESOME.
But yeah, the vuln will make you look like a playtoy in alot of situations. Just as any other vuln will.
Paladins pound undead monks because it's nearly impossible to lag them efficiently.
I'd rather train weapons than train damned air thrash.

Not at all. I mastered 3 weapons in one night. I can't even get air thrash to budge like 1 point in 10 minutes. You can master a weapon faster than you master trip, for that matter.
Air thrash I found quite easy to train, once you figure out the trick to doing so. Did it and trip together in about three hours.
Trip has taken me about three hours and it's not mastered yet....monk training is weird I guess.
What level did you do this at? Cause my weapon training is going so easy it's just ridiculous.

the thing about training a monk is it takes forever BUT its a very very good investment as the difference between untrained monk and trained monk is like paper and steel....
