Looking at this, I guess I'm just plain ol screwed. No idea how to stack that much h/d and svs. Should have stayed in retirement.

Funny thing is I don't remember any of those fights.  Good times.   This was with about 750AC for all you HP stackers.   And as an invoker I will out damage an evil that can't use prot evil.

All this log shows me is how slow you are.  Fleeing and walking back into firestorm is a newb mistake.  Him walking in on you and getting off first?

You're fast, but you can't beat mechanics with speed.  He made many mistakes in this log and is trying to use those mistakes to make a case regarding double rounds, etc.   He didn't even get a single murder off in the log, did he? Complete fail.

He got at least two that I saw.  They just didn't do much.

No charge in there. Should be flee/charging on timer resets. I see two murder opening rounds with a known weapon vs an unblind staff wielding high dex high ac char.

Ah, there's someone with better understanding.

I actually managed to get in 3 murder rounds.

Two of which were countered by him casting a spell before the actual rounds start, the other one was an actual double round, but did nothing and most attacks were parried. Everything else was him engaging me first. Because he is faster than me.

Swap to a two handed when you are not in combat, switch back once engaged.  Get snakespeed hits.  a caster should never open on a BLM unless its AOE or special skill like Leech.

I would of at least tried...

• Stanced bladestorm or Iron arm (disarming constantly)

I assume thats not what you were in, the dmg output did not look right.

Wielded a polearm in doublesheath for snake speeds

• after every flee draw, after every snakespeed draw.

Charged with polearm then switched to my dual wields. 

• until the end he was using hellstreams.

Spellkill hell stream when i am ready to charge so he eats at least one counter.

Used bladestorms rapid onslaught execution. 

• This would force him to flee or eat the damage and penalties
• or if in iron arm, disarm more often.

Used some of the Crits.  I forget what 120 gets you, but i know you could of applied effects, or gone for damage, even lagged...That is some high anatomy to be opening with murder.  

• Open with crit, flee, use some of my consumables...

 

Not a good showing at all for the BLM.   You Don't even use charge ever? That's just ridiculous.

The log is not a good example for the points he is trying to make.  Again...he's using a dagger vs a class who knows dagger, isn't blinded, and has staff parry and super high ac.     Of course his murder rounds are going to suck.

and your comment on crit says exactly why he should of used it.  Forcing you to flee and cure, lets him chase, and you not hellstream.
