A burning cane would have helped as well.  But you had him unsaved, with him bash spamming.   A dirt would have really turned the tide

If you would have gotten a burning cane or the fire staff from the Asylum, you would have won that exchange by a LANDSLIDE. 

Also, where are your venom sacks?

Guy said it was water...and he rarely hits Ashuga at all. The ogre won with no aura and he didn't even need to flee to reset it...We are talking about an exchange between a fire giant staff master with sanctuary and protection and an unsanced, unprotected? dual wielding ogre and he got his butt kicked. I don't think a burning cane, or the staff from the Asylum would've made much of a difference. This is just silly.

Ashuga was using a chaos bane staff or a pole arm. If he was dual wielding, he would have been using an exotic chaos bane and would have disarmed. That weapon is avg 36, if I recall correctly. It COULD be 32, but I am fairly sure it is avg 36 and its healing him. Nyfirion needed a fire staff.

Agree with trick on staff or pole, only one damage noun and less damage dealt than in round two -> less hr dr.

And he had protection.

Pfft, Ima n00b, but think Ashuga was dual wielding there. Or the weapon gives you abilitity to dual parry or some other item.

This time I read the log carefully before I made my post.

Anyhow...We are talking about the most defensive thing around, now that shield warriors were nerfed - staff warriors, versus an offensive exotic + whip and he barely hits him. Maybe I am the only one who sees a problem here, I dunno. I have no knowledge of damage nouns and stuff, but my opinion is that if things were balanced, Nyfarion should've been the winner here. Come on...Ashuga is under fear effect the entire fight and Nyfarion only gets it at the end and still gets beaten EASILY. Please don't talk about skill and knowledge in such a situation. Facts are right in front of you.

IIRC with Dharg you could time chaosbane in such a way that you could dual wield chaosbane weapons for a few hours.   Anyone know if that's still possible?

I've done it before on Courael. So, as recently as my last ogre warrior avatar elder, you can.

Just continuing with my observations on the fight and I have to share them, cause this irritates me ever so much. You were all attacking me, defending this bugged thing...still you try to defend it without reading the post carefully, as MOST of you implied I never do. What happens in the end? I kind of have a point, don't I? 

If you ask me, Ashuga did not go for the disarm spam this time around, because he could not dirt, making it pointless. He was also hoping for his other "skill" to kick in, so that he can simply bash lock and kill Nyfirion, having in mind he cannot even scratch him without sanctuary even.

If you could share some knowledge with me, please...Do you by damage noun mean the different type of damage his weapons do? Like one of them is the Lash that deals WRATH and the other one being the Chaosbane dealing DIVINE POWER?

possible only for a few hours for chasobane but possible all the time for chaosblade
