That's not very constructive. I don't know anyone who thinks Russians are vile. I disagree that 90% of Europeans think that America blew up thousands of its own civilians for a reason to invade another country. If there were no terrorism anywhere in the Middle East, I highly doubt we would be present there. There are reports of civilians being appreciative of and helpful to U.S. presence, as presented by first hand experienced soldiers. I also don't think Bush is a hateful, alcoholic American fanatic. Calm down.

How was the Iraq invasion not justified? Did we not make it clear it was to take Saddam Hussein out of power? How many innocents had he killed before we intervened? How many more would he have killed if we didn't intervene?

I'm not saying you're wrong, but if that was the reason the U.S. invaded Iraq, then why did they not intervene in Rwanda to stop the genocide that was going on there? If you look at that genocide to scale, it was even greater in scope than the holocaust, with some 800,000 people killed in a 3 month period. The U.N. was practically begging for help from the big nations to control that situation and stop the slaughter of innocents.

If saving innocent lives is the justification, why has the U.S. stalwartly refused to become involved in Darfour and the Sudan, where the pro-Islamic government and state sponsored militias are ethnically cleansing the entire south of the country?

I'm not saying that the U.S. is obliged to right every wrong that is going on in the world. But if you're going to claim that saving innocent lives was the justification for invading Iraq, it looks a bit strange that in the cases of Rwanda and Sudan the U.S. government took the position that "we don't want to intervene in the affairs of a sovereign nation".

Thread has served its purpose (though it really never had much of a purpose), think we'll leave it here.

One more thing to add on the original thread. If we ever catch a player killing someone they do not like for ooc reasons as them having an unusual combi, they can expect to get their behinds kicked to DS and back again.
