Mounted combat.

Pherhaps we could expand mounted combat so that it alows sneaking.

We are talking of experienced riders, and elfs that should be able to sneak even when mounting a steed. I mean, elfs get racial sneak for something.

And it would help elven paldins a bit.

After all they pay 500xp for a class that has sneaking, become master riders and still lose thier racial feature.

Taking a elf over human is not that better.

The only thing you as a paladin get is the extra mana, and charm resistence.

Things that you can get easely with equipment. And the Higher human strenght is a lot more nice than the elven dex. And dont forget the uber iron penalty that blocks you from many weapons.

If a human is capable of sneaking why cannot a horse.

Sneaking is walkign quietly, slowly. Not stomping around rushhing.

And if some mounts can fly, why cannot elves ride a sneaky unicorn or other beast.

Look, I'll give you a really simple reason why mounts will never sneak. Paladins are heavy cavalry. Not a light soldier on a mount. Paladins have these gigantic lances, shiny heavy armor, holy spells up the yin yang and they are on a gigantic warhorse. I don't think a heavy armored, giant lance wielding paladin on a gigantic horse will ever be sneaky.

If being unable to sneak is killing you, DISMOUNT. You still can run across the game with heroism.

Paladins get scroll, I'm not sure about stave, but if they do, you shouldn't be having a problem with moves. In either case, just mount right before combat.

You guys dont get it. Being mounted is has sutch a great inpact on thier skills that is not an option.

I've read all of them numerous times and can't recall an instance of a horse that sneaks.
