Why Not Prevent Equipment Loss From Crash...

@myaMerchants already get a bonus to how many rares they can carry. If anything, their merchandise that can be bought should be expanded on for them to wear so that they wouldn't have to horde raresĀ  to wear themselves in order to gain high end EQ preventing them from selling specific items. I think if they were to have that option, you'd see less holding onto things for extended periods of time and their sales list a bit more full. It's the only Cabal that I know of that makes it so you have to use both CP AND Gold in order to purchase their items, and the only one that lets you hold over the rare amount. If they were allowed to carry 100 rares, this could potentially cause abuse too. It would have to mean that regardless of what is on their sales list that at least all but 4 items of rare or unique items would be needed to be on sale or they'd risk losing it all. The ability to having more non rare items in their stores to possibly replace those higher end rares to still make them viable (a naked Merchant or a Merchant that doesn't wear at least a half decent suit means you're not getting shit to buy unless that person is playing a Ranger who can solo nearly everything) would also mean limiting their ability to PK which seems to go against others beliefs in other ways. If they had more abilities to branch out (although some of their skills later on are pretty cool), rare circulation might even be more vast and lets be honest about it. It sucks ass to see someone completely decked who isn't willing to at least find some kind of compromise that allows you both to get what you want out of it. Look at the case of Shwarzenase. She had a ton of items that were really nice, but you didn't know what they were unless you asked because they were all renamed. Sure you could still locate them if you were looking for the said original item, otherwise you pretty much didn't know what they were wearing. So in order for them to be decked and still be viable to sell rares like some people would like it would mean boosting a whole set of EQ that I doubt Imms or anyone else would want to do because they'd be considered too strong, which is exactly why I think they're better suited as a Herald subcabal since both tend to not PK and they both horde EQ.

Not this. Just allowing the rare check on void/crash, bypass normal count. On manual quit, it would work the same.

Gotcha. I wasn't sure if you had intended it as that or not so I'm glad you clarified. If it is extended to Merchants I can see it being applicable considering sometimes those things are a pain in the ass to get, but I haven't lost anything in a while that I didn't already want to lose unintentionally since I usually stay up on my sorting habits. It could still be something plausible to look at for their reasons though.
