RP points

Yup! But of course, this doesn't mean EVERYTHING with be RP points. Imms may still decide, at their own discretion, to offer rewards for RP or other things.

In summary I think we can say that the introduction of rp points has been successful insofar as we managed to get the game to

• get away from the overstrong focus on pk. We are a pk AND rp mud. This change has brought this to the fore nicely.

• reward rp EQUALLY (or a bit more even) to pk success

I've seen a vast rise in rp, both in quantity and quality.

We also often check replay tells lists when we log on and give out rp points for these.

No, but we see those when we snoop (or you guys post conversations).

So its better to RP over tells. Lol

No, as you get less rp points for a tell list than for a log (or us snooping) of a rp conversation with emotes, smotes and what not. The more atmosphere and quality, the higher the gain.

Post logs, send notes, use journal (to tell a story about your char from another's perspective for example), fill in your history...

A journal should be a story. Either like a real journal, where you write about things that happened to your character, or, a story about your character from another's pov. It should provide insight into how your char ticks and not be a shopping list.

Are journal entries sent to the imms or something the imms check from time to time? Just curious as I have always enjoyed focusing on rp as well as pk, and for some reason tend to be snooped less often than others, lol.

Yes. They check them. Pretty regularly from my experience. Remember though, any rp attempt does not guarantee ever one rp point though. We are not entitled to rp points, no matter how much WR think we are rping. They're a gift and a reward fora job well done.

Not saying anyone feels this way. Just saying that with awesome stuff to buy with hour points, you gotta be careful not to exist rp points for something.

But let's be honest, despite the horrible auto-correct errors in this thing, you still understood what I meant: We are not entitled to RP points. We will get them when the staff believes we've tried and meet the requirements for an RP point. That isn't really up for discussion. That is a the sole discretion of the staff. That being said, from what I've seen they are very lenient, and will give at least a couple RP points to anyone who appears to even be trying, regardless of whether they are sucking at it or not.

Just be patient, but in some time, make sure to double check for spelling errors, be creative, and immerse yourself, and you'll get plenty of RP points over time. I've found, over multiple chars, that I require about an hour of straight RPing for one RP point.
