Healers aren't really a powerhouse when they are fighting shamans.
If you want a class to be intentionally overpowered, and unable to fight, they shouldn't be as easy to take down as they are by a certain class, so I think you're idea about giving them a spell for saves is nice, but I think it should focus more on mal.

I think that ressurections should help pk deaths too. It would give people a reason to ask for a raise, and after all, RPwise, why would a raise only help a mob death? That would keep healers busy, rather than sitting around wishing they could pk.
Or make it to where someone can only be ressurected so many times.

Hey, back when I started it, the emote said I was poking them in their ribs. Not eyes.
And I'm fairly sure that anybody living in the violence-laden world of FL could handle a random painless poke. ^_~

Just look for a char thats pretty good at PK, but then all of a sudden goes Herald.

Then you might want to turn off your bot program, cause your chars are running around writing notes, rping, and generally doing the Heraldy thing.
My chars RP, but that doesn't make them Heralds. Just makes me a decent player. ^_~
